Had a game tonight against Egypt in a great atmosphere in a great stadium. Went through a lot of adversity but we ended up winning the match and thats obviously what matters! I ended up starting at right mid and played 90 minutes which I was happy about. We scored in the first half off of a great restart. Finally got back to the hotel at 3 am and about to get some sleep! Hope all is well back in Houston and look forward to seein ya'll sooN!

So we are settled down here in Egypt finally and things here are pretty crazy! The people are extremely friendlyand the food is unbelievable! Today we got to go to the Pyramids which was obviously an amazing experience (ill post pictures). The best part by far was the fact that I literally rode a camel...ridiculous I know! Just wanted to update you on things with the Under 20s. I am leaving Monday morning for a 8 day trip to Cairo Egypt. We are headed there to get acclimated to the facilities weather and food and ultimately to help us prepare for the World Cup in Septembr. Have been getting a lot of messages asking when I will be back so I just wanted to fill you all in. I had plastic surgery last thursday to put my nose back in place and make it look back to normal. Surgery was a bit rough but I am healing pretty well. I have been out at training doing fitness and some ball work but am unable to have any contact. Two days ago we played Honduras to a 0-0 draw. A lot of yellow cards (including me) and a very intense game ended with no goals but a lot of physical play. I started the game and played until the 65th min where I was subbed out. With two wins and a tie we qualified tonight after beating El Salvador 2-0 and at the top of our group.
