One of the best weekends ever, lots of walking, my back aches, my feet hurt, but this was absolutely fantastic.

The Dynamo game was terrific and it's quite an experience for about 80-90 orange folks to walk out of a stadium smug with their heads held high, whilst about 8000 redshirts are seriously thinking about asking their doctor for a prozac prescription.

The next day - wow - must admit I was worried, Chicago turned into Tegucigalpa North, there was blue and white everywhere and the stadium was about 60-70 percent blue/white. But everything was good natured -with the exception of some clown who didn't realize that it's foolish to toss a $7 beer away - the Honduras fans were great.

It was loud in the stadium HONDURAS HONDURAS - minute 4 - oh no is this a repeat of last week? Then the second half started with a totally different US Team, RIco was everywhere and at about minute 70 or so, the Honduras fans realized that the inevitable was going to happen - their enthusiastic chanting diminished.

As for who was the baddest of the bad - I wish to report to you that after the game at Soldier Field, the young and virile Texian Army folks returned to their hotels via public transportation or Taxi.

The PSB Ultra contingent walked.

The bus and then the train ride back to Midway was one of the most awesome experiences ever. There was one unfortunate Fire fan during the whole experince on the bus that was thinking, "what the hell did I get myself into". It was a non-stop party. "We effed the Fire!" jajajaja

The next day was superb as well with the march to the stadium w/ hundreds of US fans in the parade route. It was totally sick. Everyone who made it will have stories for years to come.

Wow, wanted to thank everyone that made the trip to Chi Town! I hope all of you had a great time, hard not to as we got to experience some great things this entire weekend. Dom and the entire Team appreciated all of you making the trip and had many kind words for everyone. And as if the Toyota Park Game was not enough, Soldier Field was rocking. Much props to the Guys that drove all the way from H-Town in the Machina Naranja (apologize for not remembering the name right this second), I pointed it out to some Folks. A bunch of Texians singing with the French visitors in Spanish on the CTR Orange Line post game, priceless. Allez!! Thanks again everyone, now on to Frisco this coming Saturday!!

Yea I was thinkin there might be a regular bus running also..... I found one on the CTA website but it takes like an hour to get there from the Midway transit Station.I am gonna check with my hotel and see if they can run me to TP.

I just realized that the Shuttle starts 2 hours before game time. If the Chicago FO cannot get the Pace buses to be ready before then, take the Pace buss #386. Get off at the 71st &Harlem stop right at Toyota Park. The buses come every 30min.

I just talked to Jason Kolish from the Chicago FO. We will be allowed PVC poles 4ft and under. He was not sure if we could bring any overhead banners. We are pretty short on time for an answer so I guess we can bring them and he said he would look them over. We will be allowed to cover the signage that will be below us with our banners. If security tells you to take it down, come get me. We should have the section to ourselves. He said they have not been selling the section to anyone else.

It seems that the AO is trying to get people to come to this game. Our section is in the SE corner and they will be selling them tickets in the SW corner. I let him know that we don't need people from teams that have nothing to do with the game coming over and talking trash. He said that security will be on the lookout for that.

We will be escorted into the section by security and there will be a security presence at all times. I do not know what the bathroom and concession situation is, but we can find that out on game day when we meet with their Security. I let him know that we will be coming in on the orange line and taking the shuttle into the stadium. He is meeting with the CTA and will let them know that they will have a large contingent of Dynamo fans getting onto the shuttles. He will call me and let me know more details when he has them. I am going to try to get to the shuttles around 4pm so that I can get to the stadium when the parking lot gates open. I would suggest that others do something similar. That way you will miss the rush for the shuttles by the Chicago fans.

Hopefully all what I said happens, but you never know. Everyone needs to be flexible. If something is not going smoothly, just be calm.
