What do you want for our stadium? Inside and Out, Ideas?

Let yourself be heard. How do you want the stadium to be? Within reason. The suporters section without seats? Orange seats? Orange lights? Shout out people! Maybe some of your ideas will get through. Thanks to our Dynamo front office for being so aproachable! Another reason I love this team so much. Forever Orange!!!

show me anywhere that was said. and show me one game in which ta has chanted only in english since.

its funny how seriously you take you. by the way, its fleeing. or fleeting. i've yet to see a coherent post on any forum, so i don't know how that surprises me.

I don't want to start a flame war here, and I've got nothing but love for both TA & EB, but I've said before and continue to believe that the competing songs fade into white noise at midfield. I have access to season tickets about six feet behind Dom, and I don't like to sit there because of the white noise phenomenon. That's all I will put forward on that issue.

However, watching the US-Mexico game at Crew Stadium, I was impressed with the size of the stage covering at the one end. Having paid pretty close attention to the stadium deal, there is certainly some talk that Dynamo Field (ahem, Ritcheske Field) will have a similar stage type structure.

Point is, I suspect acoustics under that cover are considerably better (i.e. - louder, more aural projection) than areas of the stands without.

If the SG positioning remains in its current configuration, that will likely mean one SG under the cover, one SG not (I know there are more than one SG out there, but I speak in generalities because the 2 major are at issue) That which is under the cover may very well have an acoustic advantage over the other.

All the more reasons for an Atmosphere Committee. But being Houston, I'd settle for a Space Consortium

Here's the proof Offebacher, read carefuly Eric's comments on what he feels is white noise.
We did not have this problem in the first years but man Offebacher after you guys went to the media and went to the FO with the lame idea that seperate songs from seperate corners of the Stadium was gonna be a good thing for home atmosphere, those of us in the Texian Army that wanted to stay in the North End with El Batallon did not want to associate our Texian name with y'alls name and y'alls failed move to the visitors section of Robertson.
Me and my boys are still rocking the Northend in the same spot we have stood since the very first Dynamo game. EB is our people so be mindful of what you say.

Awesome response, and once again ducking your responsibility in bringing this on, but then again you were always good at taking credit for good things and passing blame when things did not go according to your "plan. I have never had a problem with anyone in EB, so I have no idea why I need to be mindful of what I say, unless you are worried that you would be exposed for what you are. But I really don't need to do that, you are doing just fine on your own.

As for Eric suggestions, that would definitely need to be taken in consideration in the new stadium. Eric, I also agree that when you are in the middle of the Stadium or anywhere else for that matter and get sound from two ends it can play havoc with what your ears are receiving. So we are left with this dilema that Mr. Soccer and all of his wideworld experience in different stadiums cannot understand: There are two distinct styles at play with the Dynamo Supporters Groups, the South American Model that EB does spectacularly well and the TA "Hybrid" Model that incorporates Euro, South American and even some North American Elements. In other countries this is not really an issue as even if you have the Old School and Ultra Style Groups they can combine in chants to turn up the noise even if their views on things differ. Here we have EB which does almost all of their chants in Spanish and TA which mixes Spanish, English and even a bit of German into the Chants. In a perfect world both sides unite and sing each others songs and the "White Noise" becomes Orange Noise, the question is will both sides be willing to compromise to achieve that common goal. I really don't know as that is a question for the leadership of those groups. If the statements that are made by someone that has a deep resentment over not being "The One and Only President of TA" and seemingly cannot admit any responsibility or for that matter get over it already are any indication, I think it a difficult proposition at best.

Where do I start? :D
1st I want the City of HoUSton to be the main focus. Mostly everyone digs what has been done under the Buffalo Bayou area by I-45 Allen Parkway with the blue neon and metal art . I propose that we should have NARANJA NEON UNDER 59S.
Plus how cool would it be walking under the neon while bar hoping after a match.
( Maybe the astros will go back to the orange and the rocs back to mustard yella y rojo which makes oRange!!) :/
Really I just want a top notch stadium , maybe I'm spollied being from HoUSton and all.

Call circuit city and get some deals on LCD's and pimp the stadium like a Nawf side cadi, with tvs in the important spots like in line for a beer, family rr with diaper changing stations :O hahajajaja wawawa......

Autograph allies for both teams.

Another thing I would like to see in the new stadium is something very unique to stadia around the world.

When television viewers sees games on TV or games highlights on TV of any game (soccer, baseball, football etc) the viewer rarely can tell which city or stadium the game/highlight he/she is watching is being played; unless told by the narrator or graphic.

My suggestion is to have a unique architectural nook next to the playing field; so when TV viewer is watching the game he/she is reminded every second that the game is being played in Houston's Dynamo field.

In Houston tradition...you know when you're seen a game been played at Reliant because of he "corner columns" or train tracks or columnade at Minute Maid.

99% of all stadia worldwide are indistinguisable from all others. A very unique architecture would needed to tell our field apart from all others.

People recognized Fenway Park(green monster), Wrigley Field (Ivy covered outfield wall).

Please no "cookie cutter" design.

Is Santiago Calatrava available? I read recently that Chicago cancelled a big project he was designing.

The front row of the seats must go down to field level. On TV, you cannot see the fans during run of play if the front row is higher than a couple of feet. The players should enter the field from the locker room at the midline and the players/coaches seating area during the game should be in the seats, not separate from the seats. Classic English style stadium would be really special.

Don't feed the trolls! Two separate supporters sections, each with no seats.

Sounds like a definite great area for rabid fans. But city fire codes and fifa regulations required seating for all spectators.

A large concourse w/ a view of the field larger similar to area behind the Crawford boxes at Minute Maid should be starter.

Bleacher type seating then.

Great time last night at the All Star v Man U game. Excellent atmosphere and venue. Had a great time. Man U was classic and the All Stars (in the first half anyway) looked like it was an exhibition.  The Dynamo connection was very apparent as Ching…

Agreed that the midfield needs strengthening up and Cameron being out is huge right now. I have said this before. I think the Dynamo can't even get an exhibition game with a european team. We are destined to play Pachuca for the foreseeable future.…

Really the only thing we can talk about is defense. Defense keeps us from losing games. I do believe we can live with constant ties, but we can't afford anymore loses for the rest of the season.
