I'm sure trading Kei Kamara to Kansas City was something already in the works but regarding the Houston Dynamo's recent slump I blame Ching, Holden and Clark. Sure, they've been busy flyin' around playing for the US National Team and doing quite well representing Houston and American Soccer but when they come back to play for the Dynamo I feel that they've been playing kinda flat. They haven't been lifting the team like they use to and our stats have reflected as such.

I was in Columbus for the Dynamo game v. the Crew and I was sure that having Landin and Ching in at the same time was a no-no. Either one isn't quick enough. You either have to have one or the other one but not both in at the same time, thus the reason we scored when Weaver came in. Not to mention that Ching missed a few key chances in the box.

Bottom line, Ching, Clark and Holden need to bring their A game like they use to, like they have been while playing for the US National Team. I know they want to get noticed, get noticed by winning a 3rd Championship AND qualifying for the World Cup.

Guess it was time for you to jump off the bandwagon!

Meaning?... What?... The Houston Dynamo bandwagon? I wouldn't have flown out to Columbus Ohio to Support the team if I was going to "jump off" in terms of support for the team. I know they can play better. I've been a supporter ever since they came to Houston. I have practically all the jerseys, practice jerseys, give away t shirts, since 2006. Hell, I'm wearing the 2006 practice jersey in the Dynamo commercial they play every 20 min's during the game. I've flown to Home Depot Center in Los Angeles to support the Dynamo. Columbus Ohio, Frisco TX, Washington DC, and 3 year season ticket holder. I have a 2007 autographed jersey with a $500 frame hanging on my wall next to authentic Houston Chronicle front page prints from winning 2006, 2007, and Western Conference titles framed in my hallway. I bleed orange my friend.

I drove up to the game from Louisville, KY only to be moved out of my section for being a Dynamo supporter. Long story...long night. I feel you with the whole "bleeding orange" deal :)

I guess you're lucky Onstad hasn't gone to the Canadian National Team because then you wouldn't be typing that tl;dr stuff. And XD that you don't know about the bandwagon. And you're ranting. I don't like ranters.

Give the guys a break. Sure they've been on a slump. Who hasn't? Root the guys tonight when they face Pachuca tonight and when they play at home for the first time in two weeks.

Good for you. If you want to compare who is a bigger fan with me, you will lose every day, but that is not the point. Spending money and doing a bunch of stuff to support the team doesn't give you the right to call out players and insult their effort. I don't see you out on the field doing anything, but then again, I guess since you paid $500 for a jersey that was signed by those guys, you can rip them all you want. I blame fans like you who think they are bigger than the team! Get a life!

Haha! Maybe we started off on the wrong foot here. When I posted here I was under the impression that you could read but I was mistaken. I merely stated that I felt that Ching, Holden and Clark can do better to lift this team 'cause they're leaders out there on the field. Then I stated that Landin and Chings playing style were similar and that only one of them was needed out on the pitch at a time. Now, some how, somewhere something got lost in translation for you because you felt the need to insult my support for the team. It's against my better judgement but in response to your remark, " you don't see me out on the field doing anything", obviously I'm not allowed on the field but I am in the stands at every home game, along with my wife, mother, and daughter rooting for the Houston Dynamo. Until the MLS changes their rules and starts allowing fans on the field to participate, in the stands is where I and the rest of my family will be. Now, regarding your other retarded remark, "...you who think they're bigger than the team! Get a life!", I never mentioned or insinuated that I was "bigger" than anyone. Maybe that remark was for another forum member or some other situation all together. As far as having a life, I do and you can reach me anytime to discuss soccer, politics, and life in general.

What gives you the right to blame those guys? Who says they are not bringing their A game every day? Your comments insinuate that Ching, Clark and Holden are tanking it on the field with us. They are professional athletes and they bust their butts every day on the field so that you, your wife, your daughter and mother can sit their and be happy.

Are there times when they are not the better team on the field? Yes. Does that mean you can blame those guys and accuse them of not giving it their all? According to you, yes it does.

Again, just because you come to games and buy some shirts doesn't give you the right to blame players for not giving it their all. Support the team. Be disappointed when we are not successful. Be happy when we are successful.

Sometimes when I run 3 miles at Memorial Park I can do it in 8 minutes. Other times, it might take me roughly 13 minutes. Every time I run I put in 100% but it varies. So, if my 8 minutes runs are considered my A game then my 13 minute runs are my B game or lesser. Remember, each time I'm putting in 100%.

With that said and done, I'm not saying that they're "tanking it", I'm saying that I know they can play better 'cause I've witnessed them doing such. When I run, I do for leisure. I'm not a professional runner nor do I get paid to run. These guys ARE PROFESSIONALS and thus are paid. Your statement, "...bust their butts every day on the field so that my family and I can sit and be happy", you make it sound like they're taking care of me and paying my bills or something. Like they're my parents and I'm a young child that sits down and does nothing but ask for food, toys, and everything else under the sun? The opportunity exists for them to play 'cause myself and others like me are willing to pay to see them play and not the other way around.

It's obvious that you're frustrated and want to argue and distort things out of context like a majority of the people I meet from Baytown. And yes I do get the right to blame players but I never stated or implied that they weren't giving their all. The reason I get the right to blame players is because I support the team physically, spiritually, financially and mentally.

Lastly I'll say, like you mentioned, I am disappointed when they're not successful (like tonight) and happy when they are, that's why I'm posting in the first place.

I think this discussion should be closed for the way this is going.

Support the Dynamo whether they win or lose. I was a first-time season ticket holder last year and went to the Semifinals where they lost and I'm still a fan. Of course I was mad when they were eliminated, but a new season was coming and it is here. Support the Orange or find a new team.

If ANYBODY thinks that they can play better than the Dynamo and score goals, by all means tryout and find out how hard it is. If you can't, then don't bring all your heat on the team.

Before my edit time runs out: Don't forget that the Dynamo started off on a bad note this year and didn't get their first MLS win until the fifth game. After that, they racked up an unbeaten streak.

All I'm going to say is the give the guys some credit. :)

I think it's natural for fans to be frustrated when they're team is not playing well and up to their full potential. What Kishan Jeter wrote is not by any means negative or insulting when compared to ALL the other passionate sports fans at different blogs on the web. I was going to start asimilar thread about the Dynamo recent slump myself. THIS IS WHY THERE ARE SPORTS FORUMS........FOR PASSIONATE SPORTS FANS TO SUPPORT, SHARE, RANT, VENT, CONNECT with other sports fans. He shouldn't be crucified for his opinion & his support for the team shouldn't come into question.

Maybe I didn't get the memo that the Dynamo Front Office assigned A TEAM SPIRIT PATROL to check these forums & MUZZLE any comments DEEMED not favorable towards the team??? Whatever happen to ORANGE UNITE??? KISHAN JETER you don't owe anybody on here squat & you shouldn't feel the need to defend yourself as a FAN of the DYNAMO. We all support OUR TEAM in different ways & NOBODY NOBODY have the right to say otherwise.

The LOVE of SOCCER & the DYNAMO have brought fans of the BEAUTIFUL GAME in HOUSTON to this site & to SUPPORT the HOUSTON DYNAMO..........You shouldn't get thrown under the bus & dragged through the mud for stating your views as a fan of the game & the team. Who in here hasn't been critical/ stated something negative about their favorite sports team???

Great time last night at the All Star v Man U game. Excellent atmosphere and venue. Had a great time. Man U was classic and the All Stars (in the first half anyway) looked like it was an exhibition.  The Dynamo connection was very apparent as Ching…

Agreed that the midfield needs strengthening up and Cameron being out is huge right now. I have said this before. I think the Dynamo can't even get an exhibition game with a european team. We are destined to play Pachuca for the foreseeable future.…

Really the only thing we can talk about is defense. Defense keeps us from losing games. I do believe we can live with constant ties, but we can't afford anymore loses for the rest of the season.
